I'm getting a compile error when I try to compile my docsite project, this seems to be due to docproject trying to include the project settings file, but how do I stop it doing this? Any help much appreciated.

Error 112 Could not find file 'My Project\Application.myapp' referenced by assembly 'C:\Users\cmcs\Documents\mark development\logsafe experimentation\bin\LogSafe.exe.manifest'.

Hi Mark,

That error is not a DocProject error, so it must be coming from Visual Studio.

Is the LogSafe.exe program a ClickOnce application?

I don't think that Visual Studio allows projects to reference a ClickOnce executable. Even if you create a normal class library project and then add a reference to your ClickOnce executable project you'll get build errors.

Try adding the ClickOnce project as an external source instead of using a project reference:

Tools > Options > DocProject > Active Projects > External sources

Thanks,
Dave
