DocProject External UI

Is the "DocProject External UI " available for VS.NET 2005 Team users? I just do not see why I have to
access the slow option dialog to configure document tool.

I currently used SandcastleBuilder and satisfy with it, I tried earlier versions of the DocProject and could not
continue with it. I have heard of some features in the DocProject and wish to try them, but the use of the
options dialog is my current headache.

Hi Paul,

Yes, the DocProject External UI is installed regardless of your version of Visual Studio. It's located in DocProject's bin directory, commonly found at C:\Program Files\Dave Sexton\DocProject\bin.

Currently, a shortcut is not installed into Window's Start menu but it might be in a subsequent release (once I add the functionality for managing MSBuild project items externally). At this point using the Active Projects page in Visual Studio provides a few more benefits so I recommend that instead, but you certainly can use the external UI if you'd prefer.

Thanks for the feedback,
