When i try to generate .chm with DocProject, on step 13/13 an error occurs:

Step 13 of 13: Compile Help 1.x
C:\Program Files\Html Help Workshop\hhc.exe "D:\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\Xxxxxxxxxxxxx.hhp"

(xxxx is my project path and filename)

C:\Program Files\Dave Sexton\DocProject\bin\DaveSexton.DocProject.targets(29,3): Step 13 DaveSexton.DocProject.Engine.ExternalProcessException: Compile Help 1.x: error : The "C:\Program Files\Html Help Workshop\hhc.exe" process failed with exit code: -1073741819.

Microsoft HTML Help Compiler has encountered a problem and needs to close...

HtmlHelp2 documentation generates successfully. What can be source of the problem?

I found, that DocProject places in FILES section of .hhp file not only *.html content, but also all images and icons.
HHC failed to parse this files as HTML. When i remove all links, except *.html from .hhp, CHM compiles successfully.

Hi,

For errors/issues with the Html Help Workshop program you should try the MSDN forums.

An XSL transformation that comes with Sandcastle is used to generate the .hhp file. DocProject does not place anything in it.
